CanJam SoCal went down over the weekend (April 7-8th) and the biggest names in headphones and audio gear were there to unveil a ton of new products and showcase their latest releases. Here they are, the 2018 CanJam SoCal New Headphones Releases and Updates.

Campfire Audio has been making serious waves in the IEM industry and they are showing no signs of slowing down. The company just released two new IEMs on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of price at CanJam SoCal. Campfire Audio Comet is $199 and built with a single balanced armature while Campfire Audio Atlas is $1299 featuring a 10mm A.D.L.C. diaphragm dynamic driver. Comet provides full and rich sound at an affordable price. Atlas, made as the new flagship, is said to be better than Vega, providing powerful, dynamic audio. Both monitors are built with solid stainless steel enclosures and Computer Numeric Control processed shells. Comet also includes an in-line mic and controller on the cable and will be made available at the end of April. Atlas will be available at the end of May.

Audeze was also present to showcase their recently launched Mobius gaming headset which will provide immersive 3D sound and so much more. Read up on Audeze Mobius here. The company is also launching a new addition to the LCD line-up called Audeze LCD-4Z. The Z is basically zeroing out the impedance. No, it’s not at zero, but it is really low. The unit is designed to deliver like the LCD-4, but in a lighter chassis with easier playback. It is available with either wooden cups or the lighter magnesium frame. Audeze also showcased the LCD-2C classic.

FiiO showcased their latest DAC-amp, the Q5. They also showcased their new quad driver called the FiiO FH5. These in ear monitors are built with 1 dynamic and 3 knowles balanced armature driver. In addition, they exhibited their newest headphone amplifier module AM3B with 4.4mm balanced pentaconn out as well as the FiiO M7 lossless audio player which uses ESS Saber DAC and DSD and operates using Samsung’s Exynos 7270 processor. P.S. The player also supports aptX and LDAC wireless codec along with Bluetooth 4.2 to support high quality wireless streaming.

Ultrasone demoed their highly sought after Edition 15 over-ear headphones. The vibrant and detailed sounding headphone is available in very limited supply, so if you have the funds to snatch one, you better do so quick. The headphones are $2999 and available at Audio46.
