The BiCable Goes Both Ways, USB & Lightning Jack

So many portable devices, too many different charging cables, and one tangled heap of wires is all too familiar for the modern day tech user. However, BiCable, a charger for both micro USB and lightning jack, has plans to change that.

The BiCable Goes Both Ways, Apple & Android

It’s honestly quite annoying trying to remember your lightning jack charger for an iPhone as well as micro USB charger for your headphones, tablet, speakers, etc. if not dealing with the polar opposite issue of freeing the wires from a messy entanglement. Looking to make our lives a little bit easier, The Charge Factory’s BiCable will only require us to carry one multi-use cord.

The BiCable has a USB connector that transforms quite easily into a micro USB with a simple slide of the shaft. To boot, the cable supports OTG (USB on-the-go) technology, meaning it can charge one device using another device.

The BiCable is compatible with all fast charge technology including QualComm 2.0 and QualComm 3.0. The company promises the cable should be ale to charge, sync, and use OTG functionality on any device that has a micro/USB or lightning jack port since they’ve tested their technology on a number of different smart devices.

The one meter cable is covered in a nylon braid which is a great design to keep wires from fraying as well as becoming tangled to one another. The Charge Factory also created a 3 meter edition for the sole purpose of being able to charge and use your device while in bed. – rightfully called the Bedside Edition. Sweet!

In my book, BiCable receives bonus points for designing the cord in colors that coordinate with the current iPhone – black, silver, gold, and rose gold. To boot, the device seems simple enough to revolutionize the “charging game” and about 585 backers appear to feel the same way. The Charging Factory has raised 190 percent of their $8,000 goal on IndieGoGo. Head over to their campaign page to snag a BiCable at a discounted rate for the next 21 days before it ships in June.

Update: To date, BiCable has raised 460 percent of their campaign goal at $37,237. You’ve still got 22 days left to snag the BiCable on Indiegogo.
