His and Hers Valentine’s Headphones, Love is in the Ear

If you want to be as close to your lover and their music this Valentine’s Day get each other a headphone that is music-sharing capable. That means the headphones can be linked together allowing both listeners to hear the same music. “Sharing is caring and love is in the air!”

JBL

JBL Synchros E40BT is a wireless on-ear headphone for a couple that love each other, but don’t need to be joined at the hip or head. This headphone uses Built-in ShareMe technology so users can share their music with another ShareMe-equipped headphone… like your beau with a JBL Synchros E40BT. This headphone is able to operate for up to 24 hours. Purchase this headphone at JBL and Audio 46 for $99.95.

Beats

For a couple of bass heads, ya’ll can look towards Beats by Dr. Dre Beats MIXR. These on-ear cans offer a lightweight, portable frame for both you and your honey bun to daisy chain yourselves together. Beats MIXR is also collapsible, features rotating ear cups, and is available in a variety of different colors. But most importantly, these cans are able to daisy chain to one another so you and your boo can pump up the bass together. These headphones have been discontinued by the manufacturer but are still sold by third-party sellers through Amazon for a price of $159.99. Make sure if you purchase from a third-party seller you are covered under the manufacturer warranty.

Urbanears

This headphone is for the couple that balls on a budget. Urbanears Plattan 2 are only $49 each and exhibit a frame that looks like it costs much more. The minimalist-style headphones are on-ear, collapsible, and feature a 3D hinge that allows them to exhibit “impressive flexibility so they can adapt to the shape of your head for a perfect fit.” These headphones, like Beats MIXR can be daisy chained and linked to multiple Plattan users at one time. The Swedish company writes, “share your music with a best bud, or a full daisy chain of friends.” Plattan 2 is available online at urbanears.com in Tomato, True White, Black, Dark Grey, Indigo, Snow Blue, and Powder Pink.

Bang & Olufsen

BeoPlay H6 is another refined, minimal-style headphone. These cans are over-ear and feature a polished, brushed metal finish. The ear cups are comprised of soft, plush leather and exude a luxe lifestyle. These cans provide well-balanced sound across the entire frequency range of 20 to 22,000 Hertz. Each cup features an aux port for lovers to share their music with one another in premium style. The H6 makes a great gift, but at a hefty price tag. Each BeoPlay H6 is priced at $299.

Alternatives

Chord Mojo

While the aforementioned headphones offer great sound, you may be looking for better Valentine’s headphones or a high-end solution to this problem. Well, audiophiles, we’ve got the cure. If you and your boo both enjoy audiophile headphones, like Focal Utopia or Audeze LCD-2, opt for a headphone splitting amp. What makes this Valentine’s gift truly amazing is the fact that Mojo is one of the best portable amps on the market to day and it has 2 headphone jacks. Mojo is very tiny with very low harmonic distortion – like 0.00017 percent low.  Chord Mojo can be purchased at Audio 46 either online or in-store.

Belkin Splitter

If an amp isn’t your (or your lover’s) thing, then get you and your hunny bun a cheaper solution. Nothing says love “I Love You” like a headphone splitter with a short cord. You’ll be able to snuggle up to one another while sharing the same tunes. Amazon highly recommends Belkin Speaker and Headphone Splitter for $4.29 in black or $5.29 in white.

Hope this helps when it comes to searching for Valentine’s headphones for you and your boo. Happy Love Day!
