As iPhone 8 Rumors Would Have it, Apple Said to Release 3 iPhones Next Year

Gossip folk are saying the three new models are called D20, D21, and D22, for now. D20 and D21 are expected to be upgraded versions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7S, while D22 is the highly anticipated iPhone 8. P.S. D22 is code named “Ferrari.” As it is the tenth anniversary of iPhone, many also anticipate the iPhone 8 to be formally called “iPhone 8.” It is rumored to feature a completely new design – nixing an aluminum body for glass. iPhone 8 rumors suggest the completely new design includes a bezel-less AMOLED screen to be made in two different premium sizes of 4.7 and 5.5-inches or 5 inches and 5.8 inches. Regardless, if that doesn’t get you all kinds of excited, I don’t know what will. The gossip is all thanks to a Weibo user known for accurately predicting Apple leaks that have come true.

Additional iPhone 8 rumors suggest wireless charging and a few alterations to the internal make up. Leaked graphics support the addition of an A11 chip with a 10-nanometer processor for faster and more efficient processing times. The SIM card is also expected to be relocated to the bottom of the phone to free up space for other internal components that will be needed near the top.
