Meet The MotherBox Wireless Charger

Ugh! How annoying is it to spend minutes on end unraveling a heap of wires so you can charge your dying cellphone before it officially taps out? It’s very annoying so meet the solution to this problem – MotherBox wireless charger.

Meet The MotherBox Wireless Charger

MotherBox is a geometric-shaped sphere that acts as a 3D charging pad. Once the sphere is plugged into a power source it generates an electromagnetic field which is captured by a receiver you attach to your phone. The receiver is rather thin and lays across the back of your phone while a small protruding piece plugs into the power source. This set-up, though, is made efficient enough in that the user can still place a protective case over their phone.

In wireless charging pads, the antenna is rather weak and limited to a single plane requiring users to place their phone directly on the pad. MotherBox is built with patented antennas that even distribute the magnetic fields on the X, Y, and Z planes so you and your device are no longer severely limited by range, like charging pads. Thanks to MotherBox’s dynamic matching network and algorithms guide the electromagnetic fields to your device that has also already downloaded the companion app and then begin juicing the d-mn thing! Sorry, I got excited because do you know what this means?

Basically, it means your iPad won’t lose excessive battery life as you stream your favorite television shows. The MotherBox can charge multiple devices simultaneously and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

Something else to note, is that MotherBox Measures about 6″ x 6″ x 6″ but if you need a more portable version look no further than MotherBox Mini operating at the small stature of 3.5″ x 3.5″ x 3.5″. The mini version acts as a wireless charger and an external battery pack. The mini can also send you push notifications when its battery is running low and allows you to set preferences on when you’d like to charge. So cool!

MotherBox along with a receiver and USB charging cable for $79 on Indiegogo as part of their Early Bird Special. Orders will ship to backers in September 2017.
