New Release FiiO X7 Mark II Music Player

The second generation X7 has been completely re-imagined to incorporate the finer features detailed in the FiiO X5 Mark III to become part of a new exceptional line of portable players. Like the X5 Mark III, the FiiO X7 Mark II is slimmer (with the thickness reduced by 1.0mm), shorter (with the length shortened by 1.2mm), and lighter (weight reduced by 10g) in order to be held in hand a lot easier than its predecessor. Like the X5, the left side of the X7 is also characterized by a volume wheel and etched 45 degree lines. The screen has been upgraded to a high definition 480 x 800 in-cell touchscreen which basically means you should expect a clear and very receptive touch screen. The top of the player is fit with both a coaxial and optical output in addition to a standard 3.5mm headphone output and 2.5mm balanced output for more versatility when it comes to use while the right side is where you’ll find the two micro SD slots concealed to aesthetically blend with the rest of the player.

As for the interior, FiiO promises the inner hardware consists of much better parts. The new addition took a lot of thought “to make a design of the internals both more reliable and less prone to electromagnetic interference. As a result, seven specific areas of the printed circuit board are specially shielded, and there is even double shielding for the main control area and op-amps due to their importance in maintaining excellent sound quality. It does so with the use of three different crystal oscillators which is more than that found in the first X7. A crystal oscillators are circuit that uses the mechanical resonance of a vibrating crystal of piezoelectric material to create an electrical signal with a precise frequency. The X7 Mark II is fit with one for the DSD,one for 44.1kHz and multiple sampling rates, and one for the 384kHz.

This player is also Bluetooth and WiFi capable operating over Bluetooth version 4.1 and aptX codec. The coolest feature, in terms of fun, is the smart detection of lyrics and album covers. The FiiO X7 Mark II can run for up to 8 hours on a full charge and supports the following formats: DXD, DSD64, DSD128,WAV, FLAC, AAC, APE, ALAC, AIFF, WMA, MP3, ogg vorbis etc. at up to 384kHZ/32bit.
