The newest player is an upgrade and replacement to NAD C 516BEE. The C 538 player is specially designed by NAD engineers to provide the best quality parts that’ll provide users the best in music quality without breaking the bank. As NAD explains, their CD players analogue technology to produce sound, and all three forms of engineering greatly affect the end result and require careful design and engineering. The unit is comprised of a solid mechanical foundation with heavy gauge steel and non-resonant plastic moldings to provide optimal results – smooth playback with minimal distortion, vibration, and tracking errors.

NAD C 538 CD player was constructed to enhance the user’s listening experiences and usability of the unit. The front panel controls (pause, play, skip, and scan) are duplicated on the hand held remote. In addition, there is shuffle playback, repeat, sequence, and program mode.

When it comes to the interior circuitry, audiophiles will be excited to know that the NAD C 538 CD player Wolfson 24-bit DAC to provide accurate linearity for the PCM data conversion to analogue waveform. This player is able to handle high-resolution compact diuscs as well as your customized CD-R and CD-RW discs. Since these songs are encoded in MP3 or WMA, you can fit up to 10 hours of music on a single disc which is perfect for party mixes or ambient listening. P.S. There are also both optical and coaxial digital outputs that allow connection to an external DAC or digital component to provide and efficient and excellent sounding set-up.
