PUMP Audio Mix and BOOM

A bass head’s best friend is back with not one, but two new products that pack a punch. Meet PUMP Audio MIX and BOOM.

New Release: PUMP Audio Mix and BOOM

For those who may be unfamiliar, PUMP Audio prides themselves on carefully crafting headphones and in-ear buds to provide exceptional bass for electronic dance music enthusiasts. Their latest innovations are two in-ear models designed to deliver bass with depth and quality without interfering with the clarity of your treble, mids, and highs. The company has also taken into account customer suggestions from previous makes and have made the adjustments accordingly.

PUMP Audio MIX is a new wired flagship model. The sound signature of deep bass and clarity span a wide frequency response range of 12 Hertz to 28,000 Hertz. BOOM is the cheaper alternative for the audiophile on a budget and resonate over a frequency of 16 Hertz to 24,000 Hertz. When it comes to consumer suggestions, the MIX headphones received an upgrade to a 1.4 meter cable while BOOM kept the 1.2 meter cable. Both have incorporated an angle “L” shaped jack, a lapel clip, an in-line mic and volume controller, left and right indicators on the ear pieces, and custom molded ear tips. PUMP has teamed up with Snugs to offer memory foam ear tips for better sound isolation and comfort.

For those who order from Kickstarter during the launch campaign, the company is offering a 90-day trial or money-back guarantee. P.S. PUMP also offers a 5-year guarantee for damages, as outlined in their Kickstarter campaign. “If you damage or break your PUMPs, fear not… We definitely don’t want to leave you in the lurch just because you had an accident or lent them to someone who’s a bit too heavy handed.Just get in touch with a copy of your receipt and a picture of your damaged PUMPs and we’ll arrange another set for you (minus the packaging, accessories, manuals etc. that you already have) at a heavily subsidized price.”

That being said, if interested head to Kickstarter and pledge $47 for MIX and $23 for BOOM.

P.S. Please note, not all projects hosted by crowdfunding platforms come to fruition. Before making a purchase you should read the FAQs of the hosting platform as well as our article on the risks associated with investing in a crowdfunding project.
