Fiio celebrating 10 years of success with a limited release of a Red Fiio X1 2nd Gen Special Edition. The brilliantly-colored media player will be available in a one batch run, so if interested you need to be on this as of yesterday (just kidding). The Red Fiio X1 2nd Gen will feature identical specs to its predecessor in a cherry-colored chassis and retail for $74.05.

In case you’ve forgotten or don’t know, some of those specs include a 3.5 mm audio jack and a line output for the ability to plug headphones into it or plug your Fiio into a larger audio system. Fiio players hold microSD cards to allow for maximum storage of FLAC, WAV, APE, WMA, AAC, ALAC, and MP3 files. The Red Fiio X1 2nd Gen can fit a card up to 256 GB and provide playback with a resolution of 32-bit/192 kHz The built-in lithium polymer battery which provides about 12 hours of playback.

There’s no exact date on the release of the Red Fiio X1 2nd Gen Special Edition, but it looks to be available sometime this summer.
