Sennheiser IE 80 S Earbuds Demand More From Your Music

For those who loved the IE 80, they can expect nothing but the best from their new Sennheiser IE 80 S. The German company promises that the enhanced version is one of its “highest-performing models,” before adding that the IE 80 S is engineered to “meet the demands of listeners seeking as much fine detail as possible.” That being said, the new bud appears almost identical to is predecessor. Though, Sennheiser explains the new earbuds were fashioned to provide a better fit and provide exceptional, high-fidelity audio. There’s also a red turtleneck for easy left-right earbud identification.

“The IE 80 S brings together professional sound quality and high-end aesthetics – the best of both worlds for those seeking to upgrade their portable audio experience,” said Marcel Salzmann, Product Manager Audiophile at Sennheiser.

As previously mentioned, some of the finer features remain on the new model, including the ability to fine tune your audio. More bass, more reference? No problem. For further customization, Sennheiser IE 80 S earbuds are shipped with an assortment of different ear tips like ComplyTM foam along with standard and lamella silicon options which improve sound quality, as well as noise attenuation (up to 26 dB), when the tips create a proper seal against your ear.

The earphones are worn in an over-ear hook design for extra security. In addition, the cable is interchangeable allowing users who also want to use these bite-size cans to make calls, the ability to do so, with a separately sold cable.
