Form and function are serious factors to be considered when purchasing headphones. Often it feels like you have to sacrifice one for the other if you aren’t trying to break the bank. But, Rozebuds earbuds are looking to eradicate this issue with their stylish and convertible wireless earphones.

The slender earbuds were designed to seamlessly switch back and forth between forms that necklace and earbud for easy access and storage when the buds aren’t in use. The tips of the buds are magnets that snap together when not in use. The battery housing is decorated as a sleek-looking pendant that can be worn either in the front or back of the necklace.

When it comes to wireless features, Rozebuds are built to be compatible with your cellphone, tablet, and other smart devices. Autopause in the magnetic sensors is activated when the buds are snapped together in resting position. Autoplay is activated when the buds are separated. These smart controls also work with calls. First, Rozebuds let’s you know there is an incoming call by vibrating. Wearers can proceed to answer the call by separating the bud. They can hang up by snapping the buds back together. There are also additional controls hanging on both the left and right side of the cables.

When it comes to sound, Rozebuds promises after numerous tests and tweaks, they were able to achieve great quality audio without sacrificing looks and features. Rozebuds holds 6 mm drivers that operate on an impedance of 16 ohms reaching a frequency response range between 20 – 20,000 Hertz.

Rozebuds is currently retailing for $119 and up via Kickstarter. Orders will ship to backers December 2017.
