Driver Housings
As with so many of the earphones by Jerry Harvey Audio, the design of the JH 13v2 Pro is gorgeous. The face of the driver housings have a layer of glossy mahogany  with a metallic looking teal JH logo. And as you might expect by just looking at pictures online, for example, the 13v2 Pro earphones have large driver housings. However, despite their size, they are actually quite light weight. The driver housings, which are 3D printed, have a sculpted sort of look and feel so that, even though they are universal, they still have a researched shape and fit. As a result, despite their size, they do a good job of resting in my ears. I have particularly small ears, so I really didn’t think they’d work out. To my surprise, they actually did a pretty good job, although I’ll admit a smaller housing would feel a bit more secure for me.
Additionally, the housings include three bores with Jerry Harvey Audio’s FreqPhase Steel Tube Waveguide.
Cable
The cable, which hooks behind the ear, is also lightweight and very manageable. It doesn’t feel stiff despite its many individually insulated conductors. Additionally, I was super impressed at the low level of cable noise from moving it around. No rubbery sounds from the Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro! I was super impressed by the durability of this cable, especially its machine aluminum locking collars by the 4-pin connector. Additionally, cable is not too long, not too short, feels quite perfect actually. However, I will admit the bass attenuator seems a bit clunky. Its function and performance was beautiful: natural sounding bass that seemed smooth and even. However it seemed a little strange to me that left and right have their own individual attenuators (without a proper knob, just a screwdriver tool). It is a bit of a hassle to adjust both and get the perfect level if you aren’t turning it all the up or all the way down.
Drivers
There are eight drivers inside the housing of the Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro. They are balanced armatures and the audio signal is split by an integrated 3-way crossover. The drivers are split so that two are for the low frequencies, two are for the middle frequencies, and four are for the high frequencies.

Low Frequencies
The low frequencies of the Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro earphnes have a super fast transient response. As I mentioned earlier, there is a bass attenuator on the cable with provides 12 dB of attenuation. This adjustments feels like it also affects some of the low-mids as well as the low frequencies. However, no matter the configuration of the bass attenuator, the JH 13v2 Pro has really incredible detail and separation in the low end so that all bass instruments don’t step on each others toes.
Middle Frequencies
The midrange of the Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro earphones is gorgeous, especially for rock, blues, and jazz. In general, acoustic instruments like guitars, pianos, organs, horns, and drums have incredible realism and depth.Like the low end, the midrange has a quick transient response. Its even temper here even works well with classical music (although if listening to large string arrangements, you might find it favorable to attenuate the bass completely). The high-mids and low-highs are emphasized so that vocals sit higher in the mix than they would otherwise. As a result, sometimes mixes come across as more aggressive than normal and can sometimes seem harsh. I notice this the most with very bright pop vocals or very upfront jazz horns but also sometimes in orchestral violins.
High Frequencies
The high frequencies of the Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro earphones have emphasis, and are fast and detailed. As a result, vocals have a lot of beautiful air. Additionally, acoustic guitars have detailed attacks, horns have breath, and strings have string sweeps.  Additionally, I really loved hearing drums played with brushes because you could really hear, almost see the drummer’s hands as they created and developed the accents and slide across the head of the snare drum.
Soundstage
The soundstage was super impressive in every way. It had a beautiful sense of depth, width, and height. The depth was especially noticeable in the midrange. Guitars, organs, pianos, and horns all seemed to sit in their own space in depth. However, the height was also quite detailed because of the precise transient response and high and low frequency extension.
Overview – Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro IEM Review
Overall, the Jerry Harvey Audio JH 13v2 Pro earphones are awesome! They have a particularly beautiful midrange with lots of detail to accompany it in the high frequencies and low frequencies. I recommend these with folks with medium to large ears who want a super detailed and emotionally accurate sense of earphones.
