These savings apply to select models, but nonetheless, so hopefully the one you’ve been waiting for is on the list. The first to see a drop of $50 are Sennheiser’s HD 559. If you’re unfamiliar or need a refresher, this headphone is an affordable home audio solution. It reaches a frequency response of 14-26,000 Hertz at an impedance of 50 ohms. The lows consist of strong bass with detail. The mids also possess a great deal of detail and clarity, but lack when hitting the upper mids, which pertain to some vocals. As a result, the highest highs also lack a bit in detail, but the rest of the highs are still quite detailed without coming off as too bright. Overall, a nice driving sound. Sennheiser HD 569
Sennheiser HD 569 has also been marked down. This model, however, saw a price drop of $30 rather than $50. But, savings are savings! Sennheiser HD 569 is a step up from the aforementioned with a more expansive frequency response, resonating from 10-28,000 Hertz at an impedance of 23 ohms. The low end is impactful, rich, and full of detail. The mids are present and lush with nice articulation in both vocals and instruments. As for the highs, they are nice and relaxed. Though the highest of highs experience a bit of clipping at the end. Overall, this headphone provides a pleasant listening experience. Sennheiser HD 599
The final model is Sennheiser HD 599. It’s been marked down an entire $50. Yippee! The HD 599 is the most high-fidelity of the three. This headphone reaches a frequency response range of 12-38,500 Hertz at an impedance of 50 ohms. The low end is strong, detailed, and rich. The mid range is nice. The upper-mid range could be stronger, but that may be a result of the lush bass line. Nonetheless, I’m not complaining. The highs perform really well without ever becoming too bright. The HD 599 is available at the low price of $199.95 at Audio46 and Amazon.
