GameON aims to set itself apart from other in-ear buds by creating an audiophile-friendly listening experience in an affordable and stylish chassis. “We are raising the bar on audio quality in earphone products,” said creator Steven Lamar. “Everyone’s ears are different. They are like fingerprints. And we wanted to give people the most flexibility in terms of how these things fit into your ears, so we got the most comfortable experience possible.” That being said, GameON is fashioned with secure fitting ear tips and control sport fins to better isolate your music in your ears.

Lamar’s headphones are made possible with ROAM’s partnership with ATARI. ROAM aims bring a stylish and practical design of headphones to commuters, athletes, and gamers alike so they’ve paired with ATARI to integrate dual audio frequency functionality with the versatility of balanced armature earphone drivers to create a rare clarity of sound. This delivers crystal clear highs, transparent mids, and the right amount of bass (determined by the user) to every earphone. A toggle located on the back of the in-line mic and controller allows the user to hear their music in either audiophile mode (balanced) or ultra bass. That being said, the headphones use a two-way transducer and a high excursion dual laminate diaphragm to resonate over a frequency response range of 15 to 22,000 Hertz.

GameON earphones are available in rose gold and black. The earphones can be purchased via Indiegogo at the GameON Early Bird price of $99 before retailing for $169. GameON will ship to backers in December 2016 – just in time to be a holiday stocking stuffer.
