iFi Reveal Hip-DAC V2

One of the most notorious portable DACs is finally getting an upgrade. For most of 2021 iFi has been releasing updated editions of some of their existing models, like the ZEN DAC and ZEN CAN, labeling them “Version 2.” These products have added new features such as MQA support and improved jitter clocks. Here’s everything you can expect in the new Hip-Dac V2:

  • Powerful new 16-core XMOS chip processes audio data received over USB
  • Supports full MQA decoding (original hip-dac supports rendering only)
  • Upgraded GMT clock system eradicates jitter and enhances sound quality
  • Extruded aluminum enclosure now finished in vibrant ‘sunset orange’
