JBL T110BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review

JBL T110BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review

There are so many wireless earphones out there that it’s hard to keep up.  JBL has a few different models, and they’ve been quite successful in the sports and “value for money” markets. I’m about to test their T100BT model, which is in the cheaper price range. In this  “JBL T110BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review,” We’ll see if they maintain the reliable JBL quality that their more expensive sports models are known for.

FIT – JBL T110BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review

The JBL T110BT are a comfortable and stable fit, and they come with sleeves in three different sizes. I did a head flailing test and they passed. They should work well for running, though I didn’t sweat, so I don’t know how perfect they are for major workouts. They’re not water resistant, so heavy sweaters beware.

DESIGN and FEATURES – JBL T110BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review

The design on the T110BT is very simple. You’ve got a mic and 3 button remote with play/pause and skip functions. Pairing with your phone is fast and easy.  The earbuds are also magnetic, so they can stick together when they’re off your ears. They have a 6 hour battery life (which isn’t incredibly long) and take 2 hours to fully recharge. The range is great. I walked about 30 feet away, and they worked fine. Certain obstructions cause the sound to drop, but that’s only at far distances.

SOUND – JBL T110BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review

For the price, these wireless buds are impressive. The volume raises to a high level, which is saying a lot for wireless earphones. Like all JBL headphones, the T110BT have a great bassy feel. Pop, hip-hop and EDM are a lot of fun to listen to on these. The drums pack a punch, and there’s a nice warmth throughout the frequency range. They’re a little muddy, but you can’t expect too much clarity from wireless earphones in this price range. Classical and folk music doesn’t sound spectacular because the detail is missing. But the mids are full, and they sound great when listening to rock. Acoustic guitars have a nice presence, as does brass. The highs are a little sizzly, but not really a problem when listening at lower volumes. Overall, the JBL T110BT are an enjoyable listening experience. Good value for sure.
