The third generation of these rock ‘n roll inspired headphones is here. Marshall Major III showcases better sound quality in a refined frame.
New Release Marshall Major III Headphones
The on-ear headphone received slight modifications to its frame. However, none of these new design features are a total divergence from the first two models. It still features a hinged-design and a small on-ear frame with a vinyl covered exterior, but the hinges are slimmer and the ear cushions streamlined for a more comfortable fit. The headband is also a straight fit and thick loop wire with reinforced rubber dampers. Like the Marshall Majors that came before it, Marshall III features a 3.5 mm out on both ear cups for easy music sharing via daisy-chain. The included detachable cable includes a single button in-line remote and microphone. Oh, and the frame is collapsible.
In terms of sound, “The Major headphone has been re-engineered to provide a cleaner, more refined sound”… “with custom tuned 40 mm dynamic drivers for enhanced bass response, smooth mids and crystal clear highs that will immediately remind you why this headphone is an icon in the making,” explains Marshall. Th headphones are driven at an impedance of 32 ohms reaching a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz.
Marshall Major III is available at Marshall for $79.
