AQUA+ Wireless Headphone Amplifier, World’s Most Powerful

Reportedly the world’s best, AQUA+ delivers high resolution audio wirelessly to your headphones – and its so small!  First of all, I have to point out how small this little amplifier-DAC is. It measures 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.2cm and weighs 25 grams. It can be placed in a purse, on your desk, or even clip onto your blouse. Adjusting the volume is made easy with a 64-step volume control located on the corner of one of the

AQUA+ contains a high-performance DAC operating at 32bit/384K powered by Cirrus Logic – an audio company that specializes in analog, mixed-signal, and audio DSP integrated circuits and is known as one of the best Hi-Fi audio solutions in the world. This integrated-DAC, while very small, is said to support headphones with an impedance up to 300 ohms with a total harmonic distortion as low as 0.0067 percent. It’s also been optimized to work with various operating systems including iOS, Android, and Google.

AQUA+ wireless headphone amplifier is, of course wireless, so it performs over Bluetooth version 4.2 which is one of the better iterations when it comes to energy consumption, while supporting aptX, aptX LL, AAC, and SBC audio codecs for CD-like quality. AQUA+ runs between 5 to 8 hours based on channel setting (16bit or 32bit). It takes 2 hours to charge.

If interested in giving this little wonder a try head over to Kickstarter where making a pledge of $99 or greater will earn you an AQUA+ wireless headphone speaker of your own available in colorways Sublime Gold, Midnight Black, and Radiant White. The campaign ends September 21, 2017.
