Klipsch Reference Over-Ear Bluetooth Headphones

Klipsch, known for their balanced and accurate sound, just unveiled a slew of new reference headphones and we’ve got a few details on the highly anticipated Klipsch Reference Over-Ear Bluetooth headphones.

New Klipsch Reference Over-Ear Bluetooth Headphones

This new headphone is bound to be revolutionary, as the company promises audio with precision despite a cable-free frame. The Klipsch Reference Over-Ear Bluetooth headphones features the company’s patented Klipsch Balanced Dynamic driver technology. This actually balances out the weight of the 400mm drivers’ diaphragm. This KBD driver technology significantly reduces the driver’s intermodulation distortion (IMD) by removing lead wires from the diaphragm. The bass is said to become more fluid and connected to the midrange and high frequencies across the frequency range of 15 to 20,000 Hertz. The improved dynamics create a soundstage and presence only heard in Klipsch’s legendary speakers.

“Klipsch worked tirelessly to deliver high performance without the wires which required the use of aptX and AAC technology. With the shift to wireless and the increase of streaming music subscribers, AAC technology delivers the highest quality sound with the least compression,” said Vlad Grodzinskiy, senior manager of headphone product development for Klipsch. This means the headphones do not sacrifice any of their top notch audio to entertain a wire-free design.

The overall build is aimed at extreme comfort for long listening sessions. The headband and ear cushions are comprised of memory foam and as Klipsch explains, “The earcup provides articulation in every direction, ensuring that pressure is applied evenly across the entire head. With just the right amount of headband pressure, your ears stay comfortable for hours” – up to 20 hours to be exact.

Klipsch Reference Over-Ear Bluetooth headphones will be available in black or white for $299. We are not sure on an exact date but will keep you all posted.
