New Release Skullcandy Chops Flex Earbuds

If you are looking for a lightweight sports bud with a super secure fit then look no further than Skullcandy Chops Flex earbuds.

New Release Skullcandy Chops Flex Earbuds

This earphone emphasizes a simple frame that easily attaches to your ears so you can get straight to your workout without a hassle. The ear tips are attached to a bud and over-ear-hook model comprised of a flexible material. The Skullcandy Chops Flex earbud is not wireless meaning those of you who prefer to remain tethered to your audio source can still do so. This is said to actually maintain top notch audio quality as opposed to Bluetooth cans which make that sacrifice for the added technology. You can’t have it all.

As a fitness bud, these cans do in fact deliver on the sports-based front. The exterior is sweat and water resistant. I’m not sure of the IP grade at this time, but I’d like to assume at least IP 3, which is spraying water from a 60-degree angle because who sweats like that anyway.

The cable features an in-line microphone so you can make calls or in my case dial for help when I pull a muscle mid-lunge. There’s also a controller for adjusting the volume and navigating through your playlists.

Expect Skullcandy Chops Flex earbuds sometime around March 1 in various colorways like black/gray/black, black/mint/swirl, gray/red/swirl, and royal blue/blue/swirl. No word on the price, but previous makes with these attributes look to run between $39.99 and $59.99.

Please note, Skullcandy now provides a 2-year global warranty as opposed to their previous 1 year limited warranty. The 2-year warranty covers defects and proper function. I’d say this is a pretty cool move on Skullcandy’s part seeing as most manufacturer’s will cover you for one year. Way to go Skullcandy!
