FiiO X3 Mark III 3rd Generation

FiiO is known for their portable players equipped to provide audiophiles with the best in audio playback. Meet their newest edition Fiio X3 Mark III 3rd Generation player.

New Release FiiO X3 Mark III 3rd Generation Player

The newest member of the FiiO family is said to impress listeners with its sound, first by producing a wider soundstage than its predecessors. Users can achieve this by taking advantage of the balanced 2.5mm output. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone output. Either way, there are dual DACs built into the system to ensure the best in performance. These DACs allow for noise rejection and a higher signal-to-noise ratio.

This player also operates with the DAC, low-pass filter, and headphone amplifier separate from one another which aids in the reduction of any interference. But that’s not all. FiiO went the extra mile by using three different circuit boards – one for digital processing, one for analog amplification, and another to handle Bluetooth technology resulting in stellar audio even when playing wirelessly. If that’s not convincing enough, Fiio X3 Mark III 3rd Gen is Hi-Res certified, so there!

Storage sounds just as impressive as the audio quality. The new player can hold a microSD card with up to 256GB of storage supporting various high resolution audio formats including: FLAC, WAV, DSD, APE, ALAC, WMA, AIFF/AIF, AAC, OGG, and MP3.

Navigation and customization is made easier with the use of a simple multifunction button that can access playback controls, the equalizer, and more.

I mentioned earlier that this unit is equipped with a balanced output and a headphone line out. The latter also acts as a cooaxial output for support of D2P and DoP.

There’s also Bluetooth 4.1 for easy music playback with wireless headphones.

As for the look, FiiO is still rectangular-shaped, but is now much lighter and slimmer, weighing in at 126 grams and 20% thinner.

FiiO X3 Mark III 3rd Gen  is available now in black or red colorways for $199.99 at FiiO.
