k5-jkt: This Hoodie Holds All Your Electronics and Then Some

Created by a New York-based designer it is no wonder this hoodie is fashioned to store everything one owns. The top left side features an exposed Velcro strap to attach your headphone cables without them getting tangled. The tab is stitched with a 100 percent rayon twill braid which should be strong enough to support various sized wires. Beneath the Velcro strip is a phone pocket, which is just about the size of an iPhone.

This same pocket can also store your metro card, money, and anything else relatively flat and rectangular. A grommet on the right side of the phone pocket allows for the cord to freely pass through and also keep your wires from tangling while in use or stored on the Velcro strip.

Below the outer phone pocket lies an iPad mini pocket sewn onto the inside of the jacket – for obvious safety reasons. Below that is another exposed phone pocket, probably for your burner phone, but slightly larger. It also features a grommet. A matching phone pocket is mirrored on the right side of the hoodie. There’s an additional bicep pocket for anything else you’d like to carry as well as an exposed zipper that zips both ways for the wearer’s preference.

Designer Kiger Hansen said he got the idea for these pretty nifty travel hoodies after watching people fumble with their headphone wires on the train. “I always saw guys on the subway platforms awkwardly dealing with tangled headphone wires and the storage of their smartphones. I personally had the same problem. It’s a jacket, everyone needs in the city.”

The 100 percent cotton fleece hoodie will be available in colors Venice Navy and Knight Black with sizes ranging from small through XXXL at a price of $150 before retailing at the MSRP of $300 via Kickstarter. Orders ship worldwide in October.
