Bose

The QuietComfort 35 is one of the best in active noise cancelling and you can grab it now at the post-holiday sales price of $229.95 (Reg. $279.95) at Bose.com. It makes a great late Christmas present if need be, as these cans are super comfortable with plush ear cushions. P.S. This deal runs now through December 31.

Skullcandy

Skullcandy prides themselves on providing great sounding audio to their younger, trendier customer base with affordable prices. Of course, the holidays would be no different. The Utah-based company has dropped the price tag on many of their popular and new products up to 30 percent. The Skullcandy Crusher, which rattles the ear cups every time the bass drops (so cool), is available for $139.99 (Reg. $199.99). Classic favorites like the Hesh 2 Wireless and XTFree Wireless in-ear sport buds drop down to $69.99 (Reg. $99.99), while the on-ear wireless Grind retails at $62.99 (Reg. $89.99) and the super stylish Standout down to $99.99 from a $149.99 price tag. Order any of those and a whole lot more from Skullcandy.com and opt for $5 UPS 2nd day air and $10 UPS next day air to get any of their headphones in time for Christmas.

HiFiMAN

HiFiMAN is definitely providing one of the best deals this holiday, with super deals running from December 21 to December 31. The single-driver HE 560 is planar magnetic headphone providing pristine sound. It is fashioned 30 percent lighter than comparable headphones allowing for more comfortable listening sessions. The headphones normally retail at $899, but drop down to $699 (and as low as $599.20 on Amazon) on Wednesday while the Edition X V2 regularly found at $1799, will drop down to $1,299 (Amazon) and the HiFiMAN’s HE400i  will follow suit at $299 (Reg. $499)  or as I’ve seen $249 on Amazon.

Jaybird X3

This is not a false alarm, head over to Best Buy now to snag the Jaybird X3 Wireless earbuds for $99.99 rather than $129.99 in either Blackout (black) of Sparta (white). I’m not sure how long this will last, but this sale is on NOW (12/18/2016).

Sennheiser

If you’re looking for something noise-cancelling this holiday you can head over to Amazon to grab the Sennheiser PXC 450 Active Noise-Canceling Headphones at $199.95 rather than $399.95. Granted, the newer model is on the market (PXC 550) but if you don’t mind saving a few dollars to get the signature Sennheiser sound and active noise cancellation this is a good buy.

Sony

Loyal followers of audio giant Sony can expect to find the Sony MDR-1A over-ear headphone that is lightweight and provides solid bass response through the mid-range. These headphones normally retail for $299.99, but are currently marked down to $278 at WalMart and Amazon.

Audio-Technica

Whoa! If you’re looking for a real deal on studio/pro and consumer headphones Audio-Technica has got you covered. As part of their holiday special and extended Black Friday headphones deals you can find discounts ranging from $10 to $80 off from December 18 to the 24th. The ATH-MSR7 is discounted to $189 from $249 and you can catch the noise-cancelling version (ATH-MSR7NC) at $219 (Reg. $299). These deals will be available at Audio 46 both in-store and online. The headphones retailer will hold a special in-store discount on ATH-M50x at $119.99. Talk about a super saving! Best Buy and other retailers are expected to sell them at their regularly marked price of $169. The SR5BT will take a nice dip to $129 from $199 while the SR5 (non-Bluetooth model) will retail at $99 (Reg. $149). If you are more of an in-ear monitor person, you can snag the E40, professional monitor earphones with dual-phase drivers for $69 (Reg. $99) exclusively in-store at Audio 46. But, if a turntable is a better suited holiday gift, the LP-120 with USB Direct Drive will be available at WalMart and Amazon at $229.99 (Reg. $299.99).

Klipsch

There are a few of your beloveds going on sale really soon at Klipsch starting December 18th and running through the 24th. Christmas Eve ready! Look out for the R6 which will be dropping down from $59 to $44 and the R6i from $79 to $64. If wireless is more your style, opt for Klipsch’s R6 Neckband with Bluetooth retailing at the discounted price of $139 (Reg. $179). If you are looking to upgrade your sound system Klipsch is also launching special discounts on the R-28F and R-26F Floor Standing Speakers, with the R-28F dropping down to $359 (Reg. $499) and R-26F down to $279 (Reg. $349). I’ve seen a 2-set of the R-26F listed here on Amazon, so I’d expect the set to be discounted come December 18th. What a steal, that goes on the Extended Black Friday Headphones Deals list for sure! If a portable speaker is more your style Klipsch Groove Loud and Proud (red, white, and blue) speaker will retail for $129 (Reg. 149). Nab it at that rate on Amazon here from December 7th to December 24th. But if you would rather an all black version Klipsch Groove, it is also retailing for $129 (Reg. $149) and you can get it on Amazon here.

BEATS by Dre

If you want to go wireless in a small and light frame get the second generation Powerbeats (Powerbeats2 Wireless) retailing with a pretty sweet discount thanks to the holidays (and release of Powerbeats 3). These wireless buds with an over-ear hook design cost $129.99 at Best Buy.

You need to take advantage of this sale NOW! Snag Beats Studio Wireless Over-Ear Headphones in Golden Mist from Target for $247.99, a super duper deal because the regular market price is $379.99. Whoever receives this gift will be ecstatic, but not as much as you since you saved $132. Boom! Definitely deserves to be on the Extended Black Friday Headphoness list at that price!

AKG by HARMAN has started their holiday sale super early – running December 4th to the 10th. The Austria-based headphone manufacturer who specializes in balanced sounding audio is running a special promotion with prices reduced by a whopping 20 percent. If you need plenty of stocking stuffers the neutral sound of AKG Y20 in-ear headphones are a great, affordable way to go. At a price point of $19.95 (Reg. $24.95) it’s a win-win. But if you spend a little more dough on the Y20U (currently marked down to $23.95 from $29.95) the in-ear buds also feature a universal in-line mic and controller. Both makes are available at NYC’s #1 headphones store Audio 46 online (audio46.com) and in-store. Ultra-small earbuds, called Y23, are available for any of your cute elfish friends who need a smaller tip to rock out to their favorite tracks. Y23s have been marked down to $31.95 (Reg. $39.95). Below are  some current sales, but if you are also looking ahead, JBL has announced some post Christmas specials running Dec 25th to the 31st. Look out for the JBL Everest Elite 700 over-ear headphones with both Bluetooth and active noise-cancellation technology retailing for $249.95 (Reg. $299.95). The version without noise-cancellation (JBL Everest 700) will be $169.96 (Reg. $199.95). The on-ear version, called the JBL Everest Elite 300 with noise-cancellation will retail at $199.95 (Reg. $249.95) while the Bluetooth only version (JBL Everest 300) runs a low $129.95 (Reg. $149.95).

HARMAN is also selling some of their JBL products on an early bird holiday special with up to 25 percent markdowns running from December 4 to December 10 and also from December 25 to the 31st. If you are looking for a lightweight, wireless solution for all your listening needs, JBL has got you covered. Their E40BT headphones that deliver balanced audio over Bluetooth technology are now available at $74.95 rather than the regular price of $99.95. If you’d rather opt for the over-ear solution, the E50BT can be found at a price of $112.95, a sweet deal since the regular price is $149.95. Hello savings! Now that’s definitely a chart-topper on our Extended Black Friday headphones deals list!

But let’s say you or your intended gift recipient would rather share your wealth of music, the JBL Xtreme Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is $50 off, retailing at $249.95. All the aforementioned products are available both in-store and online at Audio46.com. Gotta love them! I’ve also also scoured the web and found JBL E30 on-ear headphones with a single button mic and controller on special for $44.95 (Reg. $59.95) on JBL’s Amazon account in Black or White. Portable Bluetooth speakers make great stocking stuffers. JBL seems to be ahead of the game on this one, as they’ve marked down their super cute portable Clip 2 speakers down to $53.95 (Reg. $59.95) from December 8th to the 17th, before descending to $49.95 December 18th through the 24th. These babies are at Audio 46 in a few different colors.
