New Release Grado GH2 Headphones

Grado, the open-back pride and joy of New York City is launching a new headphone called the Grado GH2.

New Release Grado GH2 Headphones

Like the headphones before it, Grado GH2 is made of wood. However, differentiating itself with a reddish-brown hue typical of Cocobolo wood. Native to Central America, the tropical hardwood is a known for it’s ability to sink in water due to it’s density.

These characteristics make Cocobolo a perfect base for the Grado GH2. As the family-run company says, they chose Cocobolo for the GH2 due to the “communicates music’s beautiful harmonics” and it is”rich and seductive in bringing you closer to your music.”

For those looking for the specs, the GH2 holds 44mm transducer type dynamic drivers that resonate over a frequency response of an amazing 12 to 30,000 Hertz at a nominal impedance of 32 ohms.

Raise your hand if you can’t wait to get your hands on the Grado GH2! You probably can’t tell, but I am most definitely raising my hand.

P.S. These cans will retail for $650. Not too shabby!
