Meet BluDAC Bluetooth DAC

BluDAC looks to me like it could be the wireless solution for those who can’t afford to get their hands on the highly anticipated Chord Poly made to work in conjunction with Chord Mojo. BluDAC is a tiny, portable DAC-amp combo designed to be the ultimate, portable-friendly player that is said to be very small and lightweight measuring 110 mm (L) x 57 mm (W) x 18 mm (H) in a scratch-resistant chassis. Users simply plug their headphones into BluDAC while the unit streams audio from your paired device over Bluetooth and can support the connection over 32 feet.

The unit is equipped with a headphone jack and a 2.5 mm jack output, a gain adjuster between low and high, an input selector, a micro USB charging port, a power button, volume knob, and LED indicators for charging status, low battery, and Bluetooth.

When it comes to reproduction of sound, the DAC/amp is said to provide high quality playback. Built with AptX technology sound reproduction should be CD-like with very. very little distortion – 0.01% total harmonic distortion to be exact. It can handle up to 384kHz and DSD audio quality with USB input and 32-bit audio resolution (also supports 24-bit and 16-bit).

BluDAC can run for up to 20 hours while using wired input. It also supports headphones with an impedance between 16 to 600 ohms. If our article has piqued your interest head over to Indiegogo to learn more or pledge $309 to take this wireless DAC-amp combo home. Orders ship to backers June 2017.
