Cleer Inc CES 2018 New Releases

Ahead of CES 2018, Cleer Inc has announced three new wireless headphones built on Qualcomm Bluetooth audio SoC. The new venture is a joint collaboration between Qualcomm and CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree, Cleer Inc. “Cleer Inc CES 2018 New Releases.”

Cleer Inc CES 2018 New Releases Headphones

“We are excited to announce these advanced wireless audio devices using Qualcomm Technologies International, Ltd’s solutions, including our EDGE Voice and ALLY, True Wireless Headphones with Alexa Voice Service through partnership with Sensory, Inc., a member of the Qualcomm® eXtension program,” said Patrick Huang, CEO of Cleer.

Qualcomm shared a similar sentiment saying, “We are excited to be supporting Cleer, Inc. on these cutting-edge new products that bring features like noise cancellation and voice assistance to the listener on the go, without sacrificing sound quality,” said Anthony Murray, senior vice president and general manager, voice and music, Qualcomm Technologies International, Ltd.

Cleer Inc CES 2018 New Releases Headphones – EDGE Voice

EDGE Voice is a wireless earphone designed for those with an active lifestyle. It is fashioned with an over-ear hook so users can easily secure the buds to endure a number of different workouts. The exterior is also water-resistant with an IP grade of IPX5 meaning this earbud can withstand jetting water in any direction. Basically, you can sweat as much as you possibly can and these earphones will be A-ok. EDGE Voice supports Qualcomm CSR8670 which allows for noise reduction and Sensory TrulyHandsfree Voice Control technology. This is said to provide exceptional voice control. it also features Alexa integration to launch your favorite playlist, make an important call, or plan your day, according to Cleer. A key component for fitness buffs is the built-in heart-rate monitoring. EDGE Voice supports a 6 hour-battery life which isn’t the best for buds of this type which normally average 7.5-8 hours. However, this wouldn’t completely shatter the deal for me since there’s a quick charge feature.

Cleer Inc CES 2018 New Releases Headphones – ALLY

ALLY is an exciting truly wireless earphone from Cleer. Seeing as we are in the midst of the wireless wave this is a pretty good time to develop this sort of headphone. ALLY is built with the same version of Qualcomm technology, Sensory TrulyHandsfree Voice Control technology, water-resistant coating, and Alex integration as the aforementioned EDGE Voice. ALLY, however, doesn’t feature heart-rate monitoring, but it IS completely-cable free making it a great, portable headphone for the everyday commuter and those that are sports savvy. ALLY features a run time of about 4 hours which isn’t bad for TWS which averages a very poor run time of 2.5 hours. ALLY also includes a portable charging case that supplies an additional 10 hours.

Cleer Inc CES 2018 New Releases Headphones – FLOW

FLOW is an over-ear wireless headphone supporting Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth Audio SoC with enhanced wireless connectivity with Qualcomm aptX and AAC codecs to provide CD-like streaming quality. This headphone also features noise-cancelling that can suppress ambient noise up to 30dB as well as intuitive touch controls. FLOW has a 20 hour run time. In terms of sound, Cleer says their innovative, audio driver technology, which they borrowed from their NEXT line-up, delivers “bold and articulate playback via high-excursion with optimized control and exceptionally low distortion.” The chassis is that of a plush and lightweight frame which sounds like it’s optimal for wearing on the go and extended listening sessions.

EDGE Voice and ALLY are expected to ship Spring-Summer 2018, retailing for $169.99 and 129.99, respectively. FLOW will ship sometime before the end of March 2018 and retail for $289.99.
