It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about the iPod Nano. There’s a concept piece circulating and we are excited to share it with you all. Meet the iPod nano 2016 concept.
Concept iPod Nano 2016
The concept nano draws from updates on some of the most popular Apple products today. The diagram alone, drafted to look like an Apple advert, boasts “3 Buttons. 2 ports. Retina Display. Endless pleasure.” Many of the products released in the last year spoke of stellar retina display, lightweight frame, and a simpler design. The concept iPod nano measures 35 mm x 25 mm x 6 mm. The sketch features a 1.9″ Retina display to easily sift through your music.
It also contains a standard USB port and a standard 3.5 mm jack port. According to the rumor monger, Apple is planning to nix the aux port for a lightning port instead. If this is the case, this draft needs a bit of fine tuning.
However, the addition of Bluetooth is a good call. With more and more smart devices using wireless connectivity to communicate, Bluetooth functionality is something I’d definitely expect on the next generation iPod – whenever that is. The concept speculates the nano wouldbe able to connect up to 3 devices to share music.
