DALI Unveils KUPID: A Compact Hi-Fi Bookshelf Speaker Launching November 2025

DALI (Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries) has officially announced its latest bookshelf speaker, the KUPID, set to launch in November 2025. Designed as an accessible entry point into true hi-fi sound, the KUPID combines compact dimensions with performance that rivals larger loudspeakers.

Premium Sound in a Small Package

Despite its compact footprint, the DALI KUPID is built with the company’s signature engineering. The speaker features a 4.5-inch paper and wood fiber cone driver paired with a ferrite magnet assembly and low-loss rubber surround, ensuring tight bass and dynamic midrange. Complementing this is a custom 26mm soft dome tweeter, optimized with a carefully tuned crossover and baffle design to deliver smooth dispersion, detailed highs, and minimal distortion.

Together, these components produce a soundstage that exceeds expectations for a speaker of its size, with a frequency range of 63Hz to 25kHz and a maximum SPL of 103dB.

Designed for Versatility and Ease of Use

The DALI KUPID has been engineered for flexibility across living spaces. Its dual flare bass reflex port enables placement as close as one inch from a wall without creating resonance issues. With a nominal impedance of 4 ohms and sensitivity of 83dB, it can be driven by a wide variety of amplifiers, whether for traditional hi-fi setups or desktop listening.

Each pair of speakers comes with wall-mount brackets and rubber feet, giving listeners multiple setup options.

Stylish Finishes to Match Any Space

Breaking away from purely minimalist Danish design, the KUPID introduces playful style alongside serious performance. The reinforced MDF cabinets (9.3 x 5.5 x 7.6 inches) are available in five distinct finishes:

  • Walnut

  • Golden Yellow

  • Black Ash

  • Caramel White

  • Chilly Blue

Each model includes magnetic front grilles in complementary colors, making the KUPID both a sonic and visual statement piece.

The DALI KUPID will be available in November 2025, just in time for the holiday season. The suggested retail price is $750 per pair in the United States and Canada.
