JellyBeanz Audio Truly Wireless Earbuds

And the wireless buds just keep on coming. As we get closer to jack-less iPhones, we’ve found another untethered pair. Meet JellyBeanZ Audio.

These truly wireless buds seem like many of the other pairs making their way through crowdfunding platforms like Indiegogo and Kickstarter. JellyBeanZ Audio by Tie-Free Zone is looking to set itself apart with noise-cancelling technology. Many other truly wireless buds, those intended for active use and not sleeping purposes, boast stellar sound isolation, but these babies are actually built with microphones to create inverse sound waves and cancel out ambient noise.

Of course, the buds use smart touch technology for users to skip back and forth between tracks, take calls, and adjust the volume. However, Tie-Free’s smartphone integration hopes to eradicate the need for users to touch or even look at their cell. When receiving a call, the music will stop and announce the name or number of the calling party. These cord-less buds are also said to employ additional smart commands that include automatic redial, last number redial, call rejection, and so forth.

The buds are fashioned like many others with an ear tip protruding out of a flatter round body. These tips are ergonomically angled to sit comfortably in the ear and provide better sound isolation. The tips look to be made silicone as well as the included “wings” which are intended to help secure the buds in your ears. The body looks to be made of a hard grade material. Below the ear tips are two nodes which juice your buds when nestled in the charging case. Good thing, since these babies, much like many other truly wireless earpieces, have a limited battery life (three hours people).

However, if affordable is your middle name, these buds might be your game. They are currently available via Kickstarter at the Early Bird price of $64. Tie-Free Zone expects to have JellyBeanZ Earbuds shipped to backers in time for this Christmas.
