Meet Jive TWS Earbuds
Each earpiece is rather small – measuring at 19mm in diameter. That’s smaller than a quarter! The depth of the housing and ear tip measure 25mm. Jive appears to take the traditional look of an earbud without sporting funky contoured-shapes or attachable clips. Rather, the small, silicone tips are fashioned to fit nice and snug within your ears. For that reason, additional ear tips are included.
While small in stature, Jive Creative promises quality sound. Though, they remain a bit tight lipped on the sound signature of the buds, we’ve got some of the other specs on hand. Jive TWS earbuds hold 6mm drivers that run on an impedance of 16 ohms. The sensitivity ranges from 91 dB give or take 3 dB. Seeing as these are truly wireless earbuds they’ll communicate with your smart devices over Bluetooth 4.0 technology. The buds are able to provide 3-5 hours of wireless play and talk time. Within one hour the buds are fully rejuiced – just bring the magnetic, portable charging case along and you should be all set.
Jive TWS earbuds are available in three different colors (gold, silver, and grey) on Kickstarter at the Early Bird Special of $69 before it hits the market at the suggested retail price of $129. Jive will ship to backers in February 2017.
