Klipsch Heritage HP-3 Headphone

Klipsch has just unveiled a new flagship headphones, and word to the wise this … model is going to burn a hole in your pocket. Meet Klipsch Heritage HP-3 Headphone.

This premium vented-back headphone is hand-crafted with the finest wood and leathers, exhibiting a truly beautiful and fine piece of art. Honestly, you should be excited. The Klipsch Heritage HP-3 headphone features die-cast steel, milled wood, premium leathers, sheepskin ear pads, and machined aluminum components.

The solid wood earcups constructed with a triple vented back are said to add natural warmth and character while the angled sheepskin ear pads provide perfect depth and distress naturally with age. The unit is hand-assembled with visible copper nuts and bolts while the headband is crafted with hand-stitched cowhide for supreme durability and obvious good-looks.

The cans hold larger than life 52mm KG-520 biodynamic drivers housed in open-back ear cups. This design is said to deliver “deliver unsurpassed acoustic performance.”

HP-3 builds upon the signature reference Klipsch reference sound, extracting the most minute details without sacrificing bass, and all the while achieving high efficiency with low distortion.

Klipsch Heritage HP-3 Headphones cost a whopping $1200, but based on the look, feel, and signature sound of Klipsch reference headphones, I’m assuming these cans are worth it. Klipsch also throws in a 1.37m and 2.5m cable, quarter-inch adapter, and a solid-steel stand for your trouble. Units are available for pre-order in walnut, ebony, and oak from Klipsch.
