Think about how much you love your Hesh 2 Wireless. Now, imagine if it was tweaked to give you a better run time and so much more. That would be the Skullcandy Hesh 3 Wireless.

The third generation Hesh headphones are different in frame. Skullcandy nixed the bulky ear cups and wide-set headband for a much slimmer build – the cups do not appear to protrude from the side of the head when worn. The ear cups appear to have more of an oval-shape rather than a circular build. Skullcandy also ditched the plush ear cushions for memory foam which provides a noise-isolating barrier. An oval better resembles the natural shape of the ear, this design leads me to believe the Skullcandy Hesh 3 Wireless will be much more comfortable when it comes to long listening sessions.
That leads me to my next point. These babies are optimized to give you much more play time than its predecessor. The Hesh 2 gave you 15 hours of play time, but the Hesh 3 will give you 20. The Hesh 3 is also said to feature a digital amplifier as well as voice prompts as you engage with the wireless headphones. Much like the Hesh 2, the newest addition to the Hesh line will also feature a built-in microphone in the ear-cups as well as controls to navigate through your playlists, adjust the volume, and take calls.
Skullcandy Hesh 3 Wireless which boasts a wireless frame will be made available September 1 in colors black, red, blue or grey. Price wise, I’m assuming it’ll also run around the $100 price point.
Update 9/07/2017: Skullcandy Hesh 3 Wireless is officially on the market and it yields a full 22 hours of play time. A quick charge feature will juice het cans for a full 90-minutes once plugged in for a mere 5. It’s fit with custom-tuned 40mm drivers to provide the best in audio playback. Paired with  premium leather cushions for a solid seal against background noise and a collapsible frame, the Hesh 3 sounds like a dream. However, the true make-it-or-break-it factor in terms of sales comes down to the price – which I can’t seem to find out. Skullcandy’s US website doesn’t seem to allow click-through on the “BUY” or “SHOP NOW” button as of now. I did find the price marked as 129.99 euros, which converts to about $156 USD, on their European website. There is another website I’m unfamiliar with listing only the blue headphone as $89.99. Seeing as this is a new item, please make sure to complete your purchase with an authorized Skullcandy retailer.
