Etymotic is known for their patented slender, deep-diving earphones that provide optimal sound isolation. As of Monday, the company founded 34 years ago was pleased to announce 2 new addition to their line-up. Meet Etymotic ER3SE and ER3XR.
New Releases Etymotic ER3SE, ER3XR Deliver Accuracy at Affordable Price
The two new headphones, collectively called the ER3 Series, focus on providing accurate sound at an affordable price.
The ER3SE Studio Edition is specially designed to deliver on high-performance. Equipped with balanced armature micro-drivers that provide a “high level of sensitivity, making it a perfect match for portable media players on the market today,” according to Etymotic. For those into the specs, this bud operates on an impedance of 22 Ohms, reaching a frequency response of 20 Hz – 16,000 Hz, and isolating between 35 – 42 dB.
The ER3XR Extended Response is said to build upon the sound quality of the ER3SE while providing a slight bass response in the low end for bassheads. Inherently, it also holds balanced armature micro-drivers and reaches a frequency response of 20 Hz – 16,000 Hertz and operates at an impedance of 22 Ohms.
