OnePlus is back with a new iteration of their sleek, stylish, and affordable earbuds called OnePlus Bullets V2.
Meet OnePlus Bullets V2
The design alone is quite eye-catching. A minimal and modern aesthetic with colorways intended to match the OnePlus 3 mobile device. The housing is of a slim cut, fashioned to reduce distortion caused be resonance within the cavity as well as allow for more natural sound reproduction. Style-wise, dusting of Zircon Sand is sprayed on the earbuds which is meant to improve the touch-and-feel of the earbuds. OnePlus also used a diamond cutter to achieve the smooth and clean edges that mark the Bullet V2.
The silicone tips are hypo-allergenic. The accompanying cable features an in-line mic and controller to navigate through playlists, adjust volume, and take calls. The wire is also flat to keep from tangling.
When it comes to sound, OnePlus promises supreme quality. They’ve paired with German audio company LOFO who have over 88 years in the business. The Bullets feature aryphan polyarylate diaphragms, known for their light weight and high vibration frequency. This helps the earbuds achieve clear and detailed sound accentuated by the aluminum coil wrapped in high-end Japanese black copper. That being said, the headphones can reach a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hertz on an impedance of 24 ohms.
As of yet, there is no word on the price of the OnePlus Bullets V2, however I’d expect around $15, the price of the original Bullets. If interested, look to OnePlus.net for updates.
