Pinn All-In-One Earbud, Mic & OLED Display

Pinn All-In-One Earbud Mic OLED

Pinn is the first of its kind, combining the best features of your cell into a wearable Bluetooth clip with an earbud-mic and OLED screen.

Pinn simply attaches to your clothing, like a pin making it very accessible, more than a cellphone. Taking after quick fix devices like the Apple Watch, but lacking in apps, the clip-on device pairs with your cellphone and proceeds to do what other quick fixes can’t – provide an easy way to take and conduct calls while on the go (bike riding, traveling, etc.). It is able to do so by featuring a detachable earbud with a microphone on the top of is frame as well as a 3.5 mm jack on the bottom in case you’d like to attach other head gear.

Pinn also acts as a headphone. Once paired with a cellphone users can also listen to music. The fun doesn’t stop there. Pinn can be used as a camera remote to help you snap the perfect selfie. If that’s not a reason to buy it I don’t know what else is.

The OLED screen allows wearers to easily access and read text messages from their cell phone as well as respond using voice activation. The screen is able to display a menu with options to access messages, phone information, music and settings. When not in use, it’ll display the time and battery life. Speaking of life span, users can charge Pinn with a standard microUSB cable or dock the Pinn earbuds on the clip to charge it while traveling.

When it comes to sound, the detachable earbud reaches a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hertz on an impedance of 16 ohms. AptX technology should allow for CD-like quality audio when making calls or listening to music.

Pinn can be purchased on Kickstarter at the Super Early Bird price of $100 until September 24. It’ll then ship worldwide to backers in October 2017.
