New Plantronics BackBeat FIT Wireless Headphones

Plantronics BackBeat FIT Wireless Headphones

Plantronics has released a new line of affordable, wireless headphones for fitness buffs and commuters. Meet Plantronics BackBeat FIT wireless headphones.

New Plantronics BackBeat FIT Wireless Headphones

BackBeat FIT headphones are available in on-ear and two different in-ear models. The on-ear wireless can is called BackBeat FIT 500. This lightweight headphone is designed to survive the most rigorous of workouts, equipped with a water-resistant shell comprised of P2i military-grade nano-coating. The ear cups are built with controls to easily answer calls, adjust the volume, and switch tracks. When it comes to sound, BackBeat 500 has been tuned with 40mm drivers and acoustic technology to deliver balanced and deep, rich sound. Thanks to memory foam ear cushions and a powerful battery, users can comfortably enjoy the BackBeat FIT 500 for 18 hours.

BackBeat FIT 500 is available for $99.99 from Plantronics.

Following, is the BackBeat FIT 300. This in-ear model features a lightweight neck-cable of braided nylon fabric to protect against premature wear and tear. Like the 500 on-ear model, the FIT 300 has a sweat proof coating with P2i and an IPX5 water resistance rating which means these earbuds can survive jetting water, not immersion. Each earbud housing is equipped with a soft flex patent-pending, occlusive ear tip that blocks out noise and stays secure during active use. As for life span, users are looking at 6 hours, which is a little below the average of 7.5 hours, but I don’t think that is a make-or-break factor, in this case. The buds, like other wireless buds on the market, features an in-line remote and mic for controlling your music and making calls.

BackBeat FIT 300 is available for $79.99 from Plantronics.
