Qobuz, the independently owned high-quality music streaming and download platform, has announced an exclusive Christmas partnership with the legendary Munich-based label ECM Records. Beginning December 1–24, 2025, Qobuz users will gain daily access to a newly released ECM album in Hi-Res 24-bit/192 kHz, available only on Qobuz throughout December.
This unique “musical advent calendar” highlights ECM’s legacy of pristine sound and innovative artistry, making Qobuz the premier destination for audiophiles seeking high-resolution streaming during the 2025 holiday season.
24 Exclusive ECM Hi-Res Albums Arrive Daily on Qobuz
Throughout the month, Qobuz will unveil 24 master recordings from ECM’s celebrated catalog. The selections include major works and rare archival gems, many from the label’s influential 1970s era. These albums will remain Qobuz exclusives for streaming and download until they appear on other platforms at a later date.
Among the most anticipated releases is Bennie Maupin’s The Jewel in the Lotus, widely regarded as a landmark in experimental jazz and praised by Pitchfork as “an unknown modern classic from 1974.” The calendar also features essential recordings from legendary ECM artists, including:
