The Hammerhead BT is designed as an on-the-go Bluetooth gaming headset that provides the right amount of bass for an immersive experience that Razer describes as “hammering in the bass” thanks to custom tuned 10 mm drivers.
Razer Hammerhead BT is built with two earbud housings featuring flanged tips connected via a neck cable equipped with an in-line mic and controller. AÂ magnetic clip is built onto the end that secures the headset to your shirt and takes the weight off your shoulders. The Razer Hammerhead BT supports an 8 hour battery life (2 hour charging time) which is the average for wireless in-ears. Users should hear CD-like quality with low latency since the headset is operating over Bluetooth 4.1 technology equipped with Qualcomm aptX codecs.
Razer Hammerhead for iOS features a Lightning cable connector and in doing so is said to deliver clean digital audio through a custom-tuned, digital-to-analog converter. Hammerhead iOS users can download the companion app to personalize their listening experience with customizable or pre-configured equalizer settings. Like the Hammerhead BT the Lightning cable is equipped with an in-line mic and controller. These buds have custom-tuned 10 mm dynamic audio drivers inside of aluminum housings that provide the right amount of acoustics to enhance music reproduction while adding to durability. These earbuds also reach a frequency response between 20-20,000 Hertz on an impedance of 32 ohms.
