The fit on the CX Sport feels super secure. I flailed my head around like a crackhead on Redbull, and they didn’t fall out. But with no over-ear wire, and a peculiarly floppy ergonomic ear tip, I wonder how well these will stay in after an hour of heavy sweating. Still, as long as you don’t drip buckets of sweat during your workouts, you’re probably safe.

These buds are water and sweat resistant. So, don’t worry about electrocuting your ears. They have a simple 3 button remote. It allows you to play, pause, skip and answer calls. The wireless range is a standard 30 feet. The battery life is about 6 hours, which isn’t incredible. But who runs more than 6 hours a week? If you do, take a break. It only takes 10 minutes of charging to produce 1 hour of battery life. And pairing with your phone is quick and simple.

I am floored by how great these puppies sound for a $130 pair of wireless buds. First, let’s discuss the bass. Phenomenal. I’m actually surprised by how deep it is for a Sennheiser headphone. But in true Sennheiser fashion, the lows are well separated from the rest of the mix. So, there’s no muddiness. Pop, hip-hop and EDM feel fantastic. And listening to the midrange, you get a sense how beautifully balanced these headphones are. It’s a very full sound, and therefore, perfect for rock and pop-rock as well. Moving onto the highs, I decided to listen to some strings. Wow. Clear and smooth without a hint of sibilance.
