Sennheiser continues to push audio innovation with their latest gadget, Sennheiser Memory Mic which records audio at any distance over Bluetooth

New Release Sennheiser Memory Mic

In a time filled with content creators, bloggers, vloggers, and so forth, Sennheiser seeks to find ways of incorporating their audio solutions into new tools for the creative types. Memory Mic is their latest fixing and it acts as a wireless lavalier, providing broadcast quality audio straight to your device as you capture video. It’s all recorded and maintained through Sennheiser’s companion app. In fact, this app allows users to record up to 4 hours at any distance all the while syncing with the video you’ve recorded. Moreover, Sennheiser promises drop-out free results. Wow! As the company’s promo videos suggest, creators can pop the mic on their kids to capture their first bike ride in its entirety or if you’re a vlogger-type, you can record audio of yourself in the kitchen even though the camera is much further away without the hassle of wires.

Memory Mic reminds me of Sennheiser Ambeo Smart Headset, which was also intended for creators. The headphone acted more as a microphone and recorded sound binaurally. As a rep told me before the launch of Ambeo, the device is designed and hopefully through consumer use and thoughts shared though social, the market kind of creates itself. Memory Mic seems a little different in that sense, since a wireless lavs are already on the market, but this is a simple means for smartphone users.

If interested, Sennheiser Memory Mic is available for $199.95.
