Not long ago, Sivga released a new set of IEMs called the Que. It was a great option that you could get for less than a hundred dollars, all while looking like an IEM that costs way more. Sivga has now followed that up with the new Que UTG, and you won’t even need to pay much more for it than you did with the original. Does that make the UTG an upgrade, or more of the same?

Look & Feel
The Sivga Que UTG has the same basic zinc alloy shell as the original Que but with a new wood faceplate. This is a new natural green sandalwood plate that is hand-polished. Each set comes with its own unique wood grain, highlighting Sivga’s knack for craftsmanship, no matter if it’s for a pair of headphones or IEMs. As for the fit, the Que UTG stays in your ears well, offering a weightless comfort that naturally isolates.
Design
One of the most unique aspects of the Que UTG is the driver, which is a 10mm dynamic unit that uses a glass diaphragm. This flat glass material features ultra-high rigidity to bolster responsiveness and reduce vibration. Its cable is made from a high-purity silver material, and it has interchangeable connectors that allow you to switch between a 3.5mm and 4.4mm termination.
Soundstage
The more I listened to the Que UTG, the more the soundstage opened up to an impressive degree. It’s becoming very easy to find cheap IEMs with wide, spacious imaging, and the Sivga Que UTG fits right into that selection. At first, I thought the UTG was a bit too narrow, but the cavernous depth it applies to layers of instruments is revealed depending on the track. Sound elements effortlessly fold over and behind each other, achieving a real sense of movement to panning instruments. There isn’t much height here, but the headspace is quite holographic. Vocals show this off the most, hovering right over you with everything else balanced in its proper position.
Low End
While it’s not the most dominant part of the sound signature, the UTG’s bass is still very satisfying for the price. The tone offers a thick groove that emanates from your jaw and crawls around with smooth vibration. It doesn’t have the most powerful impact, but you can still feel the weight of bass notes. This results in the UTG having a very focused bass response that sounds natural and clear. There’s a real body to the mid-bass, and the sub-bass gives it enough of a lift to feel significant in the mix. It gives the timbre warmth, all while articulating a clear shape for the bass to appear real.
Mids
With the UTG, everything in the midrange appears balanced and natural. Like the bass, the midrange is full of warmth and energy. The frequencies are pushed forward to help showcase everything coming through evenly. Instruments are set on the same field and exhibit plenty of room and separation to make each performance feel totally individualized. It’s an expressive timbre that highlights vocals with impressive detail for the price. Vocals feature the best resolution that the UTG offers, appearing with a crisp underline that allows voices to strike through the mix with surprising transparency.
Highs
The highs on the Que UTG have a unique flavor that should satisfy everyone’s tastes. All the frequencies that occupy the treble are given a glistening texture that is colorful and controlled. There’s no harshness here, only detailed sparkle that accentuates the heights with a blissful shimmer.
Sumnmary
The Sivga Que UTG proves that premium design and high-end audio don’t need to come with a high price tag. With its unique sandalwood faceplate, articulate glass diaphragm driver, and warm, expressive tuning, it confidently stands out in a crowded market of budget IEMs. From its holographic soundstage to the rich midrange detail and tasteful sparkle in the highs, the UTG offers a complete package for discerning listeners. If you’re looking for an affordable earphone that sounds as beautiful as it looks, the Sivga Que UTG should be high on your list.
