Athletigen analyzes the genetics of athletes to determine more about their power, speed, endurance, and more. The research companies says they understand the struggles athletes face to perform at their highest levels and use the knowledge from their research in every aspect of their technology to figure it out.

Athletic Republic is a performance training facility. With over 120 training centers worldwide, Athletic Republic facilities are one of the premier destinations for intense, individualized, sport-specific training. In total, the facilities have over 500 trainers who coach athletes to develop a competitive advantage.

Skullcandy’s Human Potential Lab is committed to researching and studying how we humans can harness the power we get from music to make us better athletes.

“Optimizing athletic performance requires attention to many details including the relationship between them,” said Emily Cook, Skullcandy Sport and Human Potential Manager. “Skullcandy is dedicated to uncovering insights that lie at the intersection of music, psychology, and physiology. By partnering with Athletigen and Athletic Republic, we will all be able to understand a more complete picture of an athlete and how to help them reach their highest potential.”

Skullcandy currently has four different fitness headphones listed on their website: XTfree, XTplyo, Method, and Chops Bud. In teaming up with Athletigen and Athletic Republic, the headphones company created by sports aficianado Rick Alden hopes to better improve their sports line.
