Spinfit NEO Eartips Review

Eartips are great accessories included in a lot of earbuds and in-ear monitors. However, you can run into some trouble when trying to find ear tips that are comfortable for your ear. A lot of people opt for getting separate eartips for themselves that are comfortable and reliable for their preferred comfort and fit. A lot of headphone companies make separate eartips you can buy, and there are some that specialize in making eartips alone. Spinfit is one of these companies, and they have a new addition to their ear tip lineup. Today, we take a look at the Neo silicone eartips and see what they have to offer for your listening experience.

What Comes In The Box

  • 1 pair of Neo Eartips

When you get eartips, there’s not much else to it. For these in particular, Spinfit gives you one pair per box.

Aesthetics and Functionality

The Neo eartips are clear and match well to any monitor or earbud it comes across. They are ideal for 4.5mm to 5.5mm nozzles, which fortunately includes a large number of earbud models. An important note: these are not made for true wireless earbuds! They are a bit too big to fit comfortably into the charging case, so they are not recommended to be used for those designs. Sure, you could use them for some models, but they would not be easily functional with the constant need to take them on and off.

Comfort and Durability

These eartips were extremely comfortable in the ear. My preferred size was a Medium, and it nestled perfectly into my ear. There was no discomfort or unwelcome pressure coming from the seal they created, so I was happy to use these for long listening sessions. They are soft to the touch and easy to maneuver. On top of that, they stayed securely on the IEM nozzle throughout use.

The only issue I had with these eartips was the durability of them. Yes, they are soft and easily moldable to the different IEMs, but it could be the over-stretch of them and constant changing that caused one of the nozzle adapters to tear off. This is part of the reason I would not suggest them for true wireless earbuds; constantly having to take them on and off would cause damage and you’d have to replace the eartips with new ones more often than not. Still, if you were looking to just put a pair of eartips on the IEMs and not take them off, the Neo seems like a good choice.

Listening Review

The Neo promises clear sound and immersive bass response when in use. They didn’t obstruct or change the sound of any particular IEM too drastically, which makes them the perfect accessory to any IEM you may have. You can still enjoy the great sound from your favorite IEM and have ideal comfort with the eartips.

Summary

In conclusion, the Spinfit Neo silicone eartips are a great accessory for any IEM. It’s not doing anything fancy, which is perfect for a product like this. It fits a lot of standard IEMs, and is comfortable no matter what size is right for you. With a lot of handling, the eartips don’t last for too long; however, if you’re looking for something to stay stable on your IEM, the Neo may be the solution for you.
