Sound the alarm! One of the best in portable headphones is teaming up with everyone’s favorite e-commerce platform Massdrop for a special limited edition release. Meet Massdrop Koss Porta Pro X headphones.
New Massdrop Koss Porta Pro X Headphones Collab!
This collaboration is an update to Koss’ Porta Pro which made its debut in 1984. The lightweight on-ear headphones retain the vintage-style and smooth, warm sound signature while making minor improvements to its durability and operation.
Massdrop Koss Porta Pro X, as it’s being called, will feature a much thicker cable with strain relief on the connector and a sturdier “Y” connection which were found as areas more prone to premature wear and tear in the original model. As for operations, the headphone has been optimized to include a noise-cancelling in-line remote and microphone that won’t affect the quality of sound. The universal controller can be used to pause/play your music, skip back and forth between tracks, and make calls.
Massdrop Koss Porta Pro X will still have the ability to fold up in several different configurations for easy portability and storage while weighing a mere 2 ounces.
Did I mention you can also grab them at a steal? No? Welp, you can grab them at a steal. Massdrop Koss Porta Pro X collab in a midnight-blue colorway will be sold for $37.99 as of Thursday, August 10 at 9 a.m. EST.
