The U Channel Huggie is a new silhouette for those who liked the first Channel Stud earrings. It is also made from sterling silver and like that of the previous models (Heart Channel, Star Channel, Disc Channel), the U Channel is designed to be worn with earbuds that do not have wire guides at the top. The U Channel measures about 3mm x 15mm and currently retails for $78.
A sparkly new addition, in which I am a huge fan of, are the Crystal Channel Studs made of Cubic Zirconia. This pair is also mounted to a sterling silver fastener and measures about 9mm and fashioned to be worn with earbuds without wire guides. The wire channel is actually built within the stone setting, so your earbud wires are not exposed, like that of the original EACH earrings. The Crystal Channel Stud is available in Crystal (clear), Jet (black), and Iridescent colors. These earrings run for $88.
The final addition is the Cabochon model available in Pearl and Turquoise. These earrings also feature sterling silver fasteners. A bit larger than their Cubic Zirconia counterparts, the Cabochon models measure about 10mm and were specially designed to secure flat wires, as well as round wires, inside of the stones. Cabochon retails for $88, but is currently back-ordered. That is definitely an indication of how cute and functional these accessories are, Â especially when you take into account these stones and settings can be worn anytime of year.
