Audeze Officially Announces Its New MM-100 Planar Headphone

One of the most recognizable names in planar headphones is back with a brand new model. This is the MM-100, a new 90mm open-back planar headphone for only $399. It’s been a while since Audeze released a product like this in this price range, with the LCD-1 being their last effort there. The MM-100 is the true follow-up to that model, and it is also the latest collaboration between Audeze and Grammy award-winning engineer/producer Manny Marroquin. Audeze released the $1,699 MM-500 last year, and it was the first headphone to release under their partnership.

With the MM-100, Audeze looks to provide flagship-grade studio headphones with their patented build quality, combining a lightweight but premium chassis with aluminum yokes, magnesium grilles, and a spring-steel headband. They hope to bring a sound that stands up to industry-trusted monitors.
