This black and yellow beauty is the product of a joint effort by Beats and Third Man Records, the record label founded by Jack White of the White Stripes. The headphone is a physical representation of the label’s bold style and Beats’ signature sound.

We capture the warmth on vinyl, and Beats relays it through impeccable fidelity,” Third Man spokesperson Ben Blackwell said. “Also, as someone who wears a lot of black and yellow, these headphones truly complete my ensemble.”
The Beats by Dr Dre Limited Edition Solo3 Wireless Third Man Headphone is fit with a black matte exterior (headband, extenders, and ear cups) highlighted by bright yellow details, like a yellow version of the signature Beats “B” and a yellow symbolic three stripes on the outside of the headband. The Third Man logo is also placed on the inside of the headband. The detachable braided cable, of black and yellow fabric, comes with a quarter-inch adapter. The cable is also 60 inches long, which is 10 inches longer than the standard Beats cable. This is said to allow wearers to mov with ease from their record player over to their record collection, in theory. The headphones also ship with a matching black case decorated with three yellow stripes and an anti-static liner.
When it comes to the specs, know that this limited edition headphone is a special release of the Solo3 Wireless. It features a 40 hour battery life and a 3 hour jump-start after a 5 minute quick charge. That’s pretty cool! There’s also the seamless integration of Apple’s iCloud technology. For iOS 10 users, the Apple W1 chip provides an easy one-step Bluetooth connection and the added ability to toggle seamlessly between iCloud-registered devices.
