This transmitter is the first of its kind, allowing performers, DJs, and musicians to perform while using wireless headphones. Meet ETHER.
ETHER Transmitter Allows Wireless Headphones On Stage
Wires are simply an annoying feature to any piece of equipment in this day and age. For DJs, musicians, and performers I can only imagine how stressful and annoying it must be to be tethered to a mountain of equipment while preparing to drop a sick beat.
However, a new bite-size piece of tech will transform the performing world for good. ETHER transmitter uses Bluetooth technology with a low latency to transmit a signal without lag.
Users will simply turn on the transmitter, pair with their wireless headphones, speakers, or earbuds, and then plug into the headphones jack of any pro-hardware (DJ mixers, headphone pre-amps, guitar/bass amps, audio sound cards, and more.) they plan to use.
The transmitter looks like a quarter inch adapter topped off with a Bluetooth transmitter, LEDÂ status ring, and a multifunction button. The LED display indicates the battery life left on the transmitter which is between 4-5 hours. The transmitter should be able to supply a quality connection over a range of 15 meters. Portability is key for the wireless adapter so it ships with an accompanying portable charging case.
ETHER is available via Indiegogo for $99 and will ship to backers in July 2017.
