Designed with your headphones in mind, Active and Arctic Ears by Guroo are headphone covers for your over-ear and on-ear headphones that can be used to keep your cans “like new” while commuting or working out.

The performance accessories company was inspired to create Active and Arctic Ears after finding Beats headphones could not withstand intense sweat from a workout.

The headphone covers are made from a waterproof breathable fabric that protects the headphones by resisting sweat. An elastic band around the edges provide a secure fit ensuring your headphones are safely protected against water, sweat, snow, dust, etc. The fabric is comprised of colored spandex which comes in red, black, blue, and patterned covers in black/white, black/purple, and tropics. This allows for an added personalization feature.

Guroo also sells a version called Arctic Ears, which still protects your headphones from snow, sweat, etc. However, Arctic Ears swaps out the breathable spandex covers for warm/cozy earmuff covers. Living in New York, I’d say Arctic Ears sound like the way to go next winter. Guroo’s ear covers are available in size small, medium, and large.

For anyone concerned about the ability to hear one’s music, know that both Arctic Ears and Active Ears are designed with die cut sound holes which allow for the transmission of sound through the fabric.
