These fitness headphones were designed by an NFL player so we know they won’t fail. Meet LIVV headphones for athletes by athletes.

These over-ear cans were built to survive high intensity workouts while giving you fitness buffs the freedom to workout as hard as you’d like. One of the first features I noticed on these headphones were the slim nature of the headband. On the contrary, it seems a slimmer headband would be too flimsy and prone to breaking, however LIVV founder and former NFL player Mark Clayton promises the SureFit Band provides a secure and snug fit by applying pressure around the sides of the head without causing pain. Taking comfort to the next level, the ear pads are made of memory foam. Those pads are also removable. The entire frame is sweat and dust resistant with the ability to be submerged in water for up to 1 meter for limited periods of time.

The exterior features a buttons to navigate through your playlist. The headphones hold up to 8GB of music which is around 4000 songs. Bluetooth 4.0 technology allows users to also pair their headphones with smart devices and stream music in addition to taking calls. The headphones should last between 10-12 hours on one full charge. That is a whole day – commute and workout included.

So how do these cans sound? I’d like to assume pretty darn stellar. LIVV partnered with in-ear monitors company Aurisonics. They’ve most recently paired with Fender to produce a line of in-ear monitors for musicians and audiophiles alike. Aurisonics was originally founded in 2011 by master audio engineer and audio products designer Dale Lott, whose goal was to make products that allowed consumers to “hear it” and “live it.”

LIVV is available at LIVVheadphones.com for a price of $349.
